The Xacto retractable craft knife is a precision cutting tool, that allows both the quick replacement of blades and the ability to retract the blade into the handle for safety and carriage.  The Xacto retractable craft knife is compatible with the ceramic craft blades listed in the Sharps section. The body is made from plastic, with the blade retention mechanism made from cast metal.
